About us · Colombo

A club of young leaders turning time into real service.

The Leo Club of Colombo Centennial is a community of young people using their time and energy to serve Colombo through leadership, fellowship, and lasting impact.

Our story

It started in 2024, with a handful of young people who wanted to do more.

The Leo Club of Colombo Centennial was chartered in 2024 by a small group of friends across Colombo who kept showing up for the same causes, and figured they could do far more together than apart. What began as a few weekend projects quickly grew into a proper club, with a committee, a calendar, and a growing crew of volunteers.

As part of the global Leo movement, the youth wing of Lions Clubs International, we brought that energy under Leo District 306 D6. In our first year we ran eye camps, cleanups, and school drives, and were recognised as the district’s Best New Leo Club. We’re still young, still growing, and still just getting started.

Our mission

Leo Club of Colombo Centennial empowers young leaders through volunteering, community outreach, and meaningful service projects that transform lives and strengthen our community.

Life with Centennials

The projects make the impact. The people make the club.

Between the camps, cleanups, and summits there are bus rides, late-night planning calls, and a lot of laughing. This is what a year with us actually looks like.

  • 01

    Real projects, hands on

Eye camps, cleanups, and school drives — you're on the ground from your first month, not watching from the side.

  • 02

    A crew, not a committee

Bus rides, late-night planning calls, and post-project food runs. The fellowship is half the point.

  • 03

    Room to lead

Chair a project, run a team, speak at a summit — responsibility comes early, with the club behind you.
